Nordic Inertial Joins the Ecosystem!
We are happy to tell you that our scope is expanding yet again. Interesting organisations in the defence and technology fields are warmly welcomed to join the Digital Defence Ecosystem when they want to explore dual-use technologies or when they want to create new digital defence solutions for domestic and international demand.
This time we have the privilege of announcing that Nordic Inertial has joined our ranks. Nordic Inertial is the home of the next-generation inertial sensing systems. They specialize in providing solutions for motion sensing in automotive and heavy-machinery applications, as well as navigation in GNSS-denied environments. Additionally, Nordic Inertial's patented algorithms open the door to entirely new inertial sensor applications, such as precise dynamic angle estimation in high-vibration environments. By harnessing intelligent algorithms coupled with motion modelling, they offer tailor-made solutions that deliver excellent orientation and positioning accuracy in contrast to conventional navigation and positioning systems.
Jarmo Puputti the Ecosystem Lead of DDE welcomes Nordic Inertial to the Ecosystem: “Nordic Inertial's knowledge further reinforces the ecosystem's capacity to address intricate military challenges. By having a diverse group of organisations, DDE can lead well-executed export opportunities for Finnish innovations. Nordic Inertial’s participation adds a critical layer of innovation and precision. Their presence will be a huge benefit in upcoming operations.”
By joining the DDE, Nordic Inertial makes a significant entry into the defence market. Beyond their automotive and heavy machinery applications, their dual-use capabilities present the defence sector with resilient solutions for navigation and motion sensing in GNSS-denied environments. With their technologies and innovative algorithms, Nordic Inertial has the potential to transform military applications, ensuring accuracy and dynamic angle estimation, even in challenging environments. They are enthusiastic about joining the DDE, and eager to contribute their expertise and introduce a new level of precision and adaptability to military operations.
Jussi Collin the CEO of Nordic Inertial is thrilled about the upcoming cooperation: ”We at Nordic Inertial have already solved many problems involving hybrid aided inertial systems for our clients. Strapdown inertial technology is entering a new phase, and we know there are many novel opportunities for us to explore in the future. We are excited to join the Digital Defence Ecosystem because we know the potential that our solutions could have in improving accuracy and resilience in UxV and military logistics, for example.”
